The last poll about the so-called web-mapping war granted Google Earth/Map as the foreseen winner (40%), with Open Street Map surprisingly close second (33%) and the users themselves not too far (14%). Yahoo! Maps, Live Local and others did poorly. I liked emj's comment: "About this web-mapping war, is there really a war in mapping? To me it seems to be more of a war about tying as many services together as possible, the constant struggle between Yahoo/MS/Google. Not about offering the best map." The new poll is about your idealistic work environment.
