Our poll hasn't been updated for a while. The last one was asking you what excites you most for 2008, the results gave varied sources of excitement, with, out of 77 votes, greater geodata availability being the clear winner. A bunch of other opportunities followed, such as a wider general adoption of geospatial technologies, better geospatial standards, new and improved geospatial software, etc. The least exciting, and thus loser, was access to new location-based services...

Dear readers, after a short break and now being the happy new father of a little girl named Vickie, I hope to resume geonews aggregation in the coming days/weeks.
